New Ministry: Monthly Moms Support Group

Hi, I am Ruth Schaller and I am so excited to be starting a Mom’s Support Group, which will be meeting monthly after the Women’s Gathering. Childcare is available and our first meeting will be on October 25th at 11am.
I am a developmental and educational psychologist who has been in the field for almost four decades, and has been parenting for almost three. The first session will be an introduction and some general parenting hacks, then we will discuss topics you would like for future months.

Monthly Women's Gathering

The Women's Ministry meets monthly on the 4th Saturday of every month, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Childcare is always available.  Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, October 25th.  We will be welcoming our own Rev. Dorian Mulvey who will be sharing Celtic Spirituality.  Please plan to join us!

Celtic spirituality draws on ancient traditions designed to engage all our senses in prayer and worship. “Thin places” is Celtic term used to describe moments when the boundary between the material world and the spiritual realm is especially permeable. There is a profound sense that the distance between human and divine has been narrowed. The Rev. Dorian Mulvey will share some of the origins and characteristics of Celtic spirituality. We will also engage in a brief Celtic worship service and experiment with a walking meditation.

For more information, please contact Cynthia McCormick (click name to email).  Or call / text:  951-551-6277.  A sign-up sheet is available in in the Narthex.
